Character Breakdown: COLOUR-BLIND CASTING – ALL ARE WELCOME.
Gillian Holroyd: A young woman who appears to be in her late 20s or early 30s. She is sophisticated, glamourous, alert, direct, rather aloof – and a witch.
Sidney Redlitch: A writer who researches and writes books on witchcraft – he appears to be in his 30s – could be older.
Shepard Henderson: Gillian’s upstairs neighbor and successful book publisher – he is a man who appears to be in his mid-30s.
Miss Holroyd: Gillian’s aunt whom she calls “Aunt Queenie,” an eccentric older woman – she too is a witch.
Nicky Holroyd: Gillian’s younger brother who appears to be in his 20s – he’s engaging, impish, with something of an impertinent personality – he is a warlock.
