Up next at the AUX DOG THEATRE NOB HILL in the 2019 SEASON after ABQ SOLOFEST closes it's month-long run on January 27, 2019 -
Opening on Feb 15th for a 4 week run… Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, THREE TALL WOMEN, about Albee's real-life adoptive mother and their contentious relationship. The Broadway revival just closed last month. The Aux Dog production is helmed by distinguished veteran director Frederick Ponzlov and features Lacey Bingham, Laura Norman, Tilcara Webb, and Juan Mendoza Solis.
Opening March 15th is the Southwestern Premiere of THE FLICK which received the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and won the 2013 Obie Award for Playwriting. The staging will reverse the traditional theatrical polarities: the audience will be seated on the Aux Dog stage and the action will take place in the house of the theatre.
Coming in April, the month of Shakespeare's birth and death, Aux Dog's SHAKESPEARE 505 will bring audiences a HAMLET played in britches by Brenda Adelman set in the morally compromised landscape of contemporary America, something is truly rotten... Many of the roles will also be gender-reversed and cast non-traditionally. Directed by Aux Dog's Artistic Director Victoria Liberatori.
